Early model Mustang back up switches

Here's the skinny on how to mount a 1964 1/2 thru 1968 factory
Mustang back up switch on a Mustang 4 speed shifter. The same
control box was used on both Toploaders Borg Warner & T-10
transmission. It's pretty simple really but most of us are used to
switches that work against the legs coming out the bottom of the
so it kind of throws you if you're not familiar with these.

As you can see in the image below the circuit breaker plunger on
These shifters works against the control pin. When you put it in
reverse it completes the circuit. When you pull it out it releases
and stops the flow of juice. Scroll down for a look at an shift control
                with a boot.

What you have to do is work the bracket of the switch in through
the hole on the side of the dust boot and then bolt it to the control
box. Easy as pie .... after you know how it fits.
